The Gild Group and Generate merge for Aussie music services

Professional services and accounting firms, Generate and The Gild Group, have merged to bolster the Australian music services ecosystem.

The announcement:

The Gild Group and Generate, two of Australia’s most renowned accounting and professional services firms, have joined forces to become a powerhouse within the Australian music services scene.

Over the last two decades the Gild and Generate teams have been working with Australia’s largest international artists, independent record labels, management, promoter, and other entertainment-based businesses.

“We have been super excited about the prospect of Gild and Generate merging. Both businesses share a deep passion for the music industry and helping its client navigate the global landscape” said Paul Luczak, chief executive officer of The Gild Group.

Since its 2015 beginning, The Gild Group has grown from a small business venture to one of Australia’s fastest growing fully integrated multidisciplinary professional services firms.

Generate (formerly known as Moneypenny) has been providing tax and advisory services to the music industry for the past 25 years.

“On top of the tax and advisory services we already offer, joining The Gild Group now means our clients have access to a range of other services in-house to assist with their business needs,” said Ben Fletcher, managing director of Generate.

“Finding a firm that offered opportunities for the team and our clients as well as being a good cultural fit was a tall order, but we believe that we found that in The Gild Group.”
