The Gruen Transfer calls for participants
The Gruen Transfer, the fourth season of which is soon to return to ABC, has called for agencies to take part in The Pitch, the show where agencies are tasked to ‘sell the unsellable’.
Last year, the highly regarded series averaged a weekly audience of 1.4m viewers.

Don’t you just love the irony of Gruen’s call for agencies to provide ‘free’ content for their show, after reading all the comments about agencies giving away their ideas for nothing.

yes but it’s also actually free advertising for your agency on a network that doesn’t let you advertise…..so a fair deal really…

When someone asks you “what is Irony” then your answer should be “Watching a show about advertising on a television station that does not allow advertising” I love the gruen transfer – the only problem is that people think it is a glamorous industry but there is no mention of blood sweat and (many) tears!!!
