The Guardian’s latest traffic acquisition strategy: video of Tony Abbott’s new fridge after a party
The Guardian appears to have pulled off the video coup of the century unearthing exclusive footage of the fridge former PM Tony Abbott bought off Gumtree holding centre stage at a drunken party.
The shock revelation the fridge, dressed in a dishevelled fashion with streamers and balloons, was attending the apparently late night party, is captured in the video with a man singing drunkenly in the background.
It swings in and out of view as the man waves his phone around. The video does not capture the contents of the fridge although there is an image of contents on the link to the video – possibly from the Gumtree posting.
Dr Mumbo commends the staff at The Guardian for unearthing vital footage of the appliance that now holds pride of place in the home of the former PM. It should certainly perform adequately in terms of traffic acquisition.
