The Hype extends to ACE Network

Dance music show The Hype has been picked up by the ACE Radio FM Network.

The announcement:

Australia’s premier Dance Music night show “The Hype” has been picked up by the entire ACE Radio FM Network.

In what has already been a huge year for the show, adding another 8 stations to the schedule is a big move, one that show producer Jonathan “Scudda” Skewes describes as a “long time coming”.

“We’ve been working with the ACE team since almost the inception of the show. A big thanks must go to Mat Cummins who has given us some invaluable guidance and direction – He’s helped us craft a product that not only suits the ACE Radio network, but another 60+ FM stations across the country that air The Hype.”

Ed Colman, of “Party People” and “The Drop” fame, also produces and hosts The Hype and is “super excited to be back on the ACE radio network, bringing the party to the people!”

ACE Group Content Director Jon Vertigan is welcoming the addition to their weekend line-up, adding “Scudda and Ed have got the show really humming, and it will compliment our format beautifully. I only wish I was young enough to stay up past 11pm on a Saturday night to hear it.”

The Hype premieres this Saturday September 26, right across the Ace Radio FM Network.
