The Iconic, MECCA, Catch, Connecting Plots and The Lumery join the Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit 2023

Senior marketers from leading retail brands The Iconic, MECCA and Catch have been confirmed to speak at Mumbrella’s Retail Marketing Summit 2023. 

Lauren Shepherd, general manager of customer data, personalisation and loyalty at MECCA, will join chief customer officer at The Iconic, Dean Chadwick, and chief customer and marketing officer at Catch, Jason Bagg.

The trio will speak on a panel about maintaining customer loyalty in a period where there is a significant amount of economic uncertainty.

Chadwick has over twenty years of experience in digital leadership and delivering customer growth strategies. Prior to The Iconic, he was interim CEO of loyalty at Velocity Frequent Flyer.

The Iconic’s approach to online shopping has endured beyond the tumultuous pandemic purchasing period and has developed a resilient approach to maintaining customer loyalty with proven results.

Catch’s Bagg, meanwhile, brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience at the Australian online marketplace.

His expertise in data driven customer and communications strategy provides new perspectives on what it means to maintain customer connection during times of uncertainty.

And Shepherd will share the strategic decisions that have culminated in MECCA’s reputation for providing a class-leading in-store experience. With demonstrated results yielded from a focus on curation, customer service and expertise, she will share the brand’s approach to customer relationship management and its translation between physical and digital spaces.

Co-founder and CEO at The Lumery, Rajan Kumar, will also join the marketing trio on the panel to share how digital transformation and innovation can bridge the void between brands and their customers.

A further session has also been confirmed for the conference. Head of integrated strategy and planning at Connecting Plots, Tim Collier, will take a detailed look into the omnichannel experience.

Collier will demystify the semantics behind it and put forward his vision for an unobstructed path to purchase.
