The Iconic promotes Liz Anderson to head of communications

The Iconic has promoted Liz Anderson to the newly-created role of head of communications.

Anderson has served as head of PR at the online fashion retailer since August 2017.

“Over the past few years, Liz has created an incredibly strong PR function at The Iconic and has demonstrated her deep understanding of the role communications plays in our business,” said chief marketing officer Alexander Meyer.

“For us at The Iconic, our customers, our partners and our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a passionate and proven leader, Liz’s unique skill set and experience will be vital to this new role, and we’re excited to see her lead our communications function into the future.”

Before joining The Iconic three years ago, Anderson spent three years at Adhesive PR, with additional stints at Citizen Relations and Frank PR.

“Leading The Iconic’s communications function is an incredible opportunity to evolve and build upon our current PR foundations; an area I’ve proudly led with my team for the past few years,” Anderson said of the promotion.

“My journey at The Iconic has been nothing short of amazing and it’s been exciting to see how our company continues to develop and grow. Expanding my remit to cover communications holistically is something I’m thrilled to take on, and I’m looking forward to bringing a wealth of ideas and strategies with my team to life.”
