The mailbox and toilet have some things to say in hipages’ collaboration with Thinkerbell
Hipages – a platform that helps people connect with tradies – has released a new campaign, via a Thinkerbell collaboration.
Runing alongside The Block’s newest season, which hipages is sponsoring, the campaign is designed to acknowledge the full spectrum of hipages’ offering, empowering homeowners with the confidence they need to successfully get on top of their home improvement and maintenance efforts, and tradies on the look out for more business.
It features four spots, with two of them using a talking mailbox to address tradies, and the other two using talkative toilet to engage homeowners.
“The ‘Start with hipages’ platform is grounded in our brand strategy and highlights how we ease the stress of home improvement for both homeowners and tradies,” explained Nick Ellery, vice president of marketing at hipages.
“It’s about making the first step simple and successful — whether that’s beginning a renovation or building a trade business. This message is adaptable and applies at every stage of the journey, creating a stretchy and enduring platform.”
Thinkerbell’s executive creative tinker, Sesh Moodley, described the experience of creating the platform as “a joy”, while shouting out Glue Society – a directing collective who supplied the campaign’s director, Paul Bruty.
“If the walls could talk, what would they say? And how would they say it? It’s such a fun, simple thought and has been a joy to write. Plus it’s always nice to collaborate with our mates at Glue Society,” Moodley said.
Moodley’s co-worker, Thinkerbell’s general manager Phillippa Netolicky, added: “It’s been an absolute pleasure collaborating with the team at hipages, and we’re excited to continue growing and strengthening the hipages brand across Australia.”
Capitalising off radio, YouTube, broadcast TV, social and CUTV channels, the platform is now in market.
