I’ve thought a bit about this branded content from Mamamia since I saw their first post it themed video.
I think I’ve decided what’s not working for me and it’s a problem in this one too.
The problem is they’re writers and editors trying unsuccessfully to be actors.
I think this idea has merit, especially the post it one where the connection to Mamamia was so obvious and I appreciate the desire to script and control it but I think these videos would work be infinitely better if they were genuine fly-on-the-wall stuff. Sure, might be a bit harder to execute but the end result would be so much more compelling.

Dont script it just keep a camera on Mia for most of the day shes funny and witty something cool will come out of her mouth – just use that – 10 to 30 seconds of funny is better than 2 minutes of scripted cringe
