The Media Store announces two client wins, reveals senior leadership team

Independent media agency The Media Store has announced two new client wins – Melbourne start-up Scooti and Travel Texas.

The wins come as the agency reveals the addition of Tom Charles as performance media director, joining from Mediacom, who will support Minsun Collier, the agency’s head digital officer. Both Charles and Collier’s roles are newly created in The Media Store’s Sydney office.

Collier joins from DAN’s Carat

Collier joined The Media Store in April from Denstu Aegis Network (DAN) where she led the Woolworths business. Prior to that, Collier was general manager at Neo@Ogilvy Australia and head of digital at OMD.

Collier said she picked The Media Store for her next role because of the business’ growth trajectory.

“I joined The Media Store because of their growth ambition, because their culture is built on a foundation of integrity and honesty and because their senior management team is as talented as they come. It’s incredibly exciting to be able to contribute to the future success of this agency and I’m looking forward to building on the fantastic momentum that we already have,” said Collier.

Charles will support Collier in her role

Other new appointments include Paul Wilkinson as national head of investment and Stephen Benrad as national commercial director.

Wilkinson joins after 10+ years with Carat across both the UK and Australia and three years with Amplifi as head of investment and national head of strategic value.

Paul Wilkinson has also joined The Media Store

Wilkison said: “I could not be more excited about joining the team at TMS – it’s an agency that continually punches well above what most would expect, raising the bar in terms of client service and performance delivery and harnesses an impressive suite of capabilities – whilst at the same time maintaining the culture and agility of a truly independent, family owned business.”

Benrad joins as national commercial director

Benrad also joined the agency earlier this month as national commercial director after working across several agency roles and with both Jetstar and Heinz.

Regarding his appointment, he said: “I was attracted to the ambition and values of The Media Store as well as the opportunity to work with such a high calibre of talent. It is exciting to join the company at a time of growth and I’m looking forward to contributing to its future success.”

The Media Store’s other accounts include Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Kennards Storage.
