The Monkeys’ Julia Rooke joins Pontoon as senior account director
Julia Rooke has been appointed as senior account director at creative agency Pontoon.

Julia Rooke, former Senior Account Director at The Monkeys, has been appointed Senior Account Director at creative agency, Pontoon.
Based in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Pontoon is in a rapid growth phase across its creative agency and property brand Pontoon Property.
At Pontoon, Rooke’s focus will be with key client accounts and delivering the agency’s strategic direction.
“I’m thrilled to join the wonderful team at Pontoon, and excited to take my career to the next level,” said Rooke.
“The role at Pontoon is allowing me to leverage the experience I’ve had working at traditional agencies, while taking a more hands on approach with other aspects of marketing, including social and digital. It’s also a privilege to be part of an agency going through such a strong period of growth.”
In her Senior Account Director role at The Monkeys, Rooke’s clients included NRMA, Australia Post and new business in both the Melbourne and Sydney offices.
Prior to The Monkeys, Rooke was Brand Manager at the Sydney Opera House.
