if only fairfax’s Drive.com.au was as effective. I recently had a 2nd hand car listed for 3 months. Was curious as to why I had only received two calls…..when I did a search to do a cost comparison, discovered my car could not be found on the site and their search function was flawed. Goodness only knows how the 2 calls found my car! Kissed that 50 bucks goodbye and promptly moved to carsales.com.au , got 5 calls and sold my car two weeks later.

I have had a shocker trying to sell a second hand car on Carsales and Carsguide.
Has been on the sites for about a month and I have had one genuine inquiry and about 6 dodgy ‘I’m a marine biologist at sea but will buy the car using paypal’ email enquiries.
Trouble began from the outset trying to get my car to fit into the framework. It’s a 1971 Austin Healey Sprite, but do you think I could find a proper match?
Also, the online framework is used to build the print version advert.
Oh the car is still for sale. It is red.
