The Voice delivers a Monday night win for Nine, as Ten shines in the key advertising demographics

The Voice has continued to deliver for Nine, bringing in 952,000 metro viewers for Monday night, just a slight dip from 963,000 last week, and providing the channel with an overall audience share win.

However it was Ten which shone in the key advertising demographics, with Have You Been Paying Attention topping all three – 16-39s, 18-49s and 25-54s.

The current affairs comedy panel, produced for Ten by Working Dog Productions, gained 50,000 metro viewers on last week, seeing 741,000 tune in.

Seven News was the most-watched overall with 1.15m viewers tuning in. 1.051m metro viewers watched Nine News, and 755,000 chose ABC News. Nine also had success with A Current Affair which saw 865,000 viewers watch.

The Voice took the second spot in the 18-49s and 25-54s demographics, while Ten’s Masterchef held second place in the 16-39s. Masterchef remained fairly steady on the figures it has delivered this season, showing last night to 651,000 metro viewers.

Ten took the overall win in 25-54s, with 22.3% of the metro viewers in that demographic watching the channel, while Nine slipped ahead to take the network win with 28.8% in the age group.

Ten also nabbed the win in 16-39s. 27.1% of metro viewers aged 16-39 watched the channel, giving it the highest share, something it held onto at a network level where Network Ten held 32.1% for the winning share.

In overall audience shares, Nine was the most-watched channel with 20.7%, followed by Seven on 18.8%, Ten on 14.8% and ABC on 13.5%. At a network level the results were much the same, with Nine holding 27.7%, followed by Seven on 27.0%, Ten on 19.8% and ABC with 17.4%.

7mate was the most-watched secondary channel, holding 3.4% above 10 Bold’s 3.1%.
