The Voice tops entertainment but Have You Been Paying Attention? takes key demos

Seven enjoyed a network share victory on Monday with The Voice Australia leading the way in entertainment and Seven News topping the night among all programming.

The Voice brought in 1.113 million metro viewers, continuing its exceptional run of rating over the million mark for every single episode of the 2021 season.

Despite being #1 in non-news, The Voice lost out to Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention? in the key advertising demos, with the Working Dog-produced program winning 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

It was also the #4 entertainment program on the night, with 664,000 metro viewers, behind Australian Survivor’s 699,000 and Seven’s Home And Away which brought in 676,000 metro viewers.

Nine’s The Block continued a rough start in the metro linear ratings, with 627,000 metro viewers on Monday.

ABC’s Four Corners aired part one of a two-part special on Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News in the USA, which prompted a series of retaliatory stories this morning in The Australian, brought in 586,000 metro viewers.

Seven News was the top-rating program with 1.217 million metro viewers. Nine News managed 1.114 million metro viewers.

Seven took a 30.1% network share, winning the night ahead of Nine’s 24.9%, Ten’s 21.3% and ABC’s 17.0%. Seven was also the #1 primary channel, while 10 Bold was the top multi-channel.
