TikTok partners with Canva to enhance TikTok Ads Manager

TikTok has partnered with graphic design platform Canva, allowing Canva features to be used within TikTok Ads Manager.

The partnership allows brands to select from Canva’s 50 TikTok ad templates and the news comes after Canva announced a partnership with Officeworks earlier this month.

Canva partnership marketing lead Kate Marsden said: “We’re incredibly excited to be integrating with TikTok and levelling the playing field for content creators and small business owners to develop really authentic, engaging and visually compelling content with Canva’s simple platform and ever-growing library of templates.”

TikTok general manager of business solutions Brett Armstrong commented: “We are truly excited to partner with an innovative Australian business like Canva who shares our passion for creative, authentic and meaningful brand marketing. This integration not only saves time and streamlines creative processes, but yields tangible results for small business owners looking to reach new audiences after such a challenging year.”

Canva is now also an official TikTok Marketing Partner. It is one of the first brands to be badged under TikTok’s new Creative Tools subcategory of Creative Partners.

Recently, TikTok introduced digital wellbeing features for teenagers and has begun experimenting with a Stories feature.

In May this year, Canva appointed OMD as its first media agency of record.
