Till Payments appoints The General Store & Dec PR to aid local brand positioning

Australian-based global payments experience provider Till Payments has appointed creative agency The General Store and independent public relations agency Dec PR to enhance its marketing capability.

The agencies will collaborate with Till Payments’ growing in-house brand and customer experience team, focussing on developing brand awareness and helping its AUNZ brand positioning in the payments space.

The General Store, which recently appointed Reid Nakou as its head of retail and design, will manage market analysis, consumer insights and segmentation, brand strategy and identity, as well as design and a new website build.

Dec PR, who has recently worked with Coca-Cola Australia on its new Fanta campaign, will be focused on growing the Till Payments brand and managing corporate reputation through storytelling and integrated marketing activities.

Shadi Haddad, founder and CEO at Till Payments, said: “Till Payments is shaking up what has traditionally been a very complex payments ecosystem with our simple, single-source solutions that are designed to favour merchants, while also improving their front-end customer experience.

“Our team of in-house experts in technology, finance, payments, and marketing is expanding, and we’re now excited to welcome The General Store and Dec PR to the Till family to add their skills into the mix. We know that growing our brand presence and telling our story will play a critical part in our next phase of growth and we’re thrilled to be partnering with some of the industry’s best to help achieve our vision.”

Matt Newell, partner and CEO at The General Store, said: “Till Payments success and the vision it has to be a true innovator and disrupt the payment industry is highly impressive. As a collective team we look forward to working with Till Payments and Dec PR to help drive the brand strategy.”

Kristen Costandi, client strategy director at Dec PR, added: “Till Payments is a hugely exciting business that is leading the way in delivering better customer experiences in the increasingly fragmented payments space. Our work will focus on helping Till Payments tell its story through creative and corporate communications across a mix of industry sectors, and we’re excited to be working with such an energetic team of experts.”
