Tim Arrowsmith leaves Patts after 26 years for Pulse Marketing
Pulse Marketing Group has appointed Tim Arrowsmith as creative director. He joins from George Patterson Y&R Sydney, an agency he has served for 26 years.
Latterly, Arrowsmith was creative group head, working on brands including Arnott’s, Colgate-Palmolive, Australian Rugby Union, Tourism NSW, Channel 7, Telstra and Hyundai.
“I joined Pulse because I share the vision of Lauren Brown [Pulse’s managing director], who wanted an experienced head to work alongside her. My brief is to consolidate with existing clients, gain new clients and do great work.”
Patts is currently interviewing for a replacement for Arrowsmith.
Arrowsmith’s recent work includes Generation One, a campaign to tackle the problems faced by Australia’s indigenous communities.
He was also a copywriter for an ad for V8 Supercars, featuring Pink, last year.
A top bloke who will be missed at GPY&R, I’m sure.
