Tim Bullock combines Run DMC with Bavarian dancing in launch ad for Le Snak Deli
Director Tim Bullock and Ogilvy Sydney have created a TV ad for client Nestle to launch its new Le Snak Deli product.
The ad centres around two traditional Bavarian dancers who “break tradition” and dance to Run DMC It’s Tricky after eating the snack.
The ad went to air yesterday.
Previous work of Bullock’s include ads for Libra Invisible, Toyota and Sky Sports.
The use of It’s Tricky is not the first time Bullock has created ads around a rap classic. He was also behind last year’s Kia Sportage ad.

Great ad, I love it.
Funny, catchy (like the Kia ad they’d done previously), makes me want to see it again.
Assuming next ad will have Vanilla Ice music in it though, then the triumvirate (Grand Master Flash – Kia, Run DMC – Le Snak), will be complete.
Of course that’s not to say the Vanilla Ice is in the same league as the aformentioned, but can’t imagine too many Public Enemy or NWA songs suitable for TV ads…

Love both ads. The Kia Sportage marginally more than the Nestle. Great job by all involved.
