Promoted: Mediacom’s Toby Jenner

Former MediaCom Australia CEO Toby Jenner has been promoted to global chief business development officer.

In the new role Jenner will be based out of New York and will report to MediaCom’s global CEO Stephen Allen.

“Our commitment to fostering a culture that attracts and retains the very best talent has produced this great opportunity for Toby to apply his business-building skills to a larger, worldwide canvas,“ said Allen.

For the last five years, Jenner has been based in Singapore as  COO of MediaCom Asia Pacific.

In a statement, the company said Jenner had been responsible for “helping create the fastest growing network in 2012 (+25.5 per cent), which was further cemented recently through the winning of the $150m Fonterra pitch against Carat and OMD.”

Jenner takes over the role from Fraser Riddell who will now head up a new global division MediaCom Beyond Borders.

“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work more broadly with the incredible talent that we have across our network and help support our global growth ambitions moving forward. I’m equally sad and incredibly proud to be leaving behind a team that is truly world class”, said Jenner.

Prior to his current role Jenner was MediaCom Australasia CEO from 2008 joining from MEC in the UK where he was managing director.
