Tourism Fiji hunts for new creative and PR agency
Tourism Fiji is pitching both its public relations and creative accounts.
The tender came just before Tourism Fiji appointed Sarah-Louise Robinson to the newly created role of public relations manager for Australia.
Robinson joins Tourism Fiji from her previous three year stint as the senior marketing communications and PR manager at Dubai Tourism.
Prior to her time at Dubai Tourism, Robinson was a PR manager at GTI Tourism for two-and-a-half years.
“Fiji holds a special place in the hearts of many Aussies. I am honoured to be joining the Tourism Fiji team and I am raring to lead some exciting initiatives within the Australian media market. Stay tuned,” Robinson said.
Mumbrella understands the creative pitch is in its final stages while an expression of interest has been sent out to PR agencies.
According to a tender listed by Tourism Fiji the travel brand is seeking a creative agency who will have a “great strategic handle on our business” and assist Tourism Fiji in positioning “Fiji to have its own voice in the competitive travel landscape”.
The tourism brand is on the hunt for an agency which will help lift its profile.
“We are searching for an agency partner that will help elevate Fiji’s global brand profile and meet our business goal of attracting more visitors to Fiji and positioning itself for future growth.”
The agency will work across markets including Australia, New Zealand, North America, Asia, UK, Europe and India.
Circul8 is currently the global social media and digital agency for the brand, while other agencies on Tourism Fiji’s roster include New Zealand creative agency Colenso BBDO, PR agency Mango Communications in New Zealand, Sydney-based PR agency Verve Communications and Ogilvy PR in Los Angeles.
