Transurban’s Linkt crowns VML as creative agency of record

Creative organisation, VML, has been named as the creative agency of record for Transurban’s Australian customer retail brand, Linkt.

The appointment will see the WPP agency collaborate with Transurban to bolster Linkt’s profile via increasing brand awareness, customer advocacy and comprehension.

Overall, Linkt’s benefits for drivers are expected to be spotlighted by the new partnership’s work.

“We’re excited to partner with VML to establish a brand platform for Linkt that will showcase the value Linkt brings to our customers,” said Transurban’s general manager of customer experience and operations, Chris Jackson.

Sarah Bailey, VML Sydney and Melbourne’s managing director, added that the agency’s goal is to demonstrate how Linkt elevates travel experiences.

“VML is excited to partner with Transurban and communicate the true value Linkt offers its customers,” Bailey said.

“Our aim is to showcase how Linkt’s products and services can enhance travel experiences, transforming indifference into advocacy.”

The new client announcement comes just over one week after news broke that Jo Millington, the former general manager of marcomm agency Khemistry, would be leaving her role to return to VML Brisbane – where she spent five years as the agency’s client service director before her Khemistry stint – and serve as its managing partner.

“I am thrilled to return to VML as managing partner in this exciting new chapter,” Millington had said of her homecoming.

“My time at VML was always very special to me and I loved working with Adam and the team.

“This new role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the agency’s vision alongside Adam, and it feels like the perfect moment to rejoin.”
