Travel Guides premieres to 582k metro viewers as Nine wins the night

A new season launch of Travel Guides on Nine has topped Wednesday entertainment with 582,000 metro viewers, as the network won the night.

Returning travel critics of the show include the budget-hunting Fren family from Newcastle, fun-loving Matt and Brett, jetsetters Kevin and Janetta, and best mates Kev, Dorian and Teng.

The Chase Australia on Seven aired to 518,000 metro viewers, while Hard Quiz on ABC brought in 461,000.

Home and Away on Seven pulled in 416,000 metro viewers, followed by I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Ten with 398,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Monday night was Seven News with 887,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 841,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 726,000 and Nine News with 725,000.

As mentioned, Nine Network won the night with 28.5% overall share, followed by Seven with 25.8%, ABC with 17.6% and Ten with 17.3%.

The top-rated primary channel was Nine with 20.8%, but the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.2%.

In the latest Consolidated 7 Total TV report for 12 April, the #1 program was Seven News with 1.482 million Total TV viewers, including 40,000 on national BVOD and a 3% uplift.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 173% was Alone Australia on SBS, with 826,000 Total TV viewers and 250,000 on national BVOD.
