Travel Guides takes entertainment crown 2 nights in a row

The Travel Guides topped entertainment on Wednesday for the second night in a row, as Nine celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 593,000 metro viewers, followed by The Chase Australia which aired to an average audience of 575,000.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 11 May, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.573 million viewers, including 39,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%. The biggest uplift of the week was Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother on Seven with an uplift of 52% and aired to a total audience of 857,000.

Looking at Wednesday’s ratings, and next in entertainment was Gruen Nation on ABC which aired to an average metro audience of 559,000 viewers.

ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering saw an average of 523,000 metro viewers tune in.

Ten’s MasterChef saw 499,000 metro viewers tune in, and also topped key advertising demo, 16-39s.

Meanwhile, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Wednesday with 978,000 metro viewers followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 955,000 metro viewers. Nine News had 835,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 which had an average of 807,000 metro viewers. ABC News brought in 604,000.

Seven News at 6:30 won key advertising demos, 18-49s, and 25-54s.

Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 28.1% over Seven’s 27.5%, while Ten took a 16.8% share and the ABC had 18.9%.

Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Wednesday was 7Mate with a share of 4.2%.
