Travel Guides tops entertainment as Nine takes Tuesday

The Travel Guides topped primetime entertainment on Tuesday, as Nine celebrated an overall network share win.

The episode aired to a metro audience of 554,000 metro viewers, followed by MasterChef, which brought in a metro audience of 513,000. The program also won key advertising demo, 16-39s.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 10 May, Sunday’s Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.616 million viewers, including 38,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 2%. The biggest uplift of the week was an episode of The Rookie on Seven with an uplift of 75% and aired to a total audience of 386,000.

Looking at Tuesday’s ratings, and next in entertainment was Home and Away on Seven which aired to an average metro audience of 499,000 viewers.

Big Brother on Seven saw an average of 379,000 metro viewers tune in.

Ten’s Cheap Eats on Ten saw 378,000 metro viewers tune in, followed by The Chase Australia on Seven which had 352,000 metro viewers.

Meanwhile, Seven News was the #1 metro program on Tuesday with 938,000 metro viewers followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 924,000 metro viewers. Nine News had 863,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 which had an average of 854,000 metro viewers. ABC News brought in 561,000.

Nine News at 6:30 won key advertising demos, 18-49s, and 25-54s.

Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 28.1% over Seven’s 26.7%, while Ten took a 19.3% share and the ABC had 16.6%.

Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.
