Advertising and publisher network Tribal Fusion has announced several senior hires, including Mindshare’s former head of mobile and online Nikki Retallick as sales director for Sydney and Queensland.

The new hires come as Tribal Fusion’s parent brand Exponential launches its new in-app mobile advertising product Appsnack.

Robert Hotchin and Paul Saunders, both formerly at NineMSN, and Tyler Greer, ex-Starcom MediaVest and previously also at Mindshare Melbourne, have recently joined the Exponential team.

Ben Maudsley, commercial director said: “Nikki has worked with our London team and has excellent credentials. She also comes highly recommended by my former boss, Mindshare’s Kerry Field, who says she’s wonderful. Nikki’s strategic and driven and really understands both publisher and agency side – there just aren’t many people in market with that skill set.”

Retallick said: “I’m excited to be joining Tribal Fusion here in Sydney and to helping grow what is already a great team. Tribal have always had a strong reputation for their targeting ability and in an industry still plagued by the battle to claim the last click or view, we can really get under the skin of who a brand’s online audience is allowing them to connect with real consumers and influence their purchase decision further up the chain.”

The move comes shortly after long standing Mindshare staffer Bruce Mundell moved to Eye Corp.
