Triple M launches new lunch-time show, Generation X, for November
Triple M is launching Generation X, a lunch-time music show set to air for the entirety of November.
The announcement:
Off the back of Oztober, a month-long celebration of Aussie music’s greatest hits and artists, Triple M will launch Generation X, a national Triple M Network music feature focusing on the ‘80’s, ‘90’s and selected ‘70’s.
Starting today, Friday November 1, Generation X will deliver a new lunchtime show from 12pm-1pm weekdays.
Triple M music royalty will be heard on-air for a selection of the lunchtime shows including heavy metal band Iron Maiden’s lead singer, Bruce Dickinson and American singer-songwriter and lead singer of rock band Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, who is in Australia for his latest tour.
Head of Music for the Triple M Network, Mickey Maher said: “Gen X showcases the greatest hits from our listeners favourite years in music.”
“Rob Thomas is no stranger to Australia or Triple M, we are pumped to have him host Gen X to share his love of music and tell his stories with our audience while he tours the country.”
Don’t miss Generation X on the Triple M Network from 12pm-1pm weekdays for the month of November.
