Close to 1.6 million people in the five capital cities tuned into the announcement of The Block winner, as Nine took a whopping 47.5% of the Sunday free-to-air viewing audience.
Once the overnight and regional figures come in, it’s likely that well over two million Aussies tuned into the grand final of The Block – a nice result for Nine as we move closer to the end of the rating season.
Seven, who benefitted from string showings by The 1% Club, and Border Security, managed to take a respectable 22.3% of viewers, while ABC and Ten lagged with 14.5% and 9.4%, respectively.
