TV Wrap: Celebrity MasterChef wins entertainment as Nine takes the week

Ten’s episode of Celebrity MasterChef, which saw football legend Archie Thompson eliminated from the competition, was the #1 entertainment program on Sunday night, however it was Nine who took the overall win.

Celebrity MasterChef brought in a metro audience of 545,000, while also winning key advertising demo, 16-39.

Nine’s Parental Guidance was next in entertainment, pulling in a metro audience of 487,000, followed by Nine’s 60 Minutes which had 465,000 metro viewers.

The #1 program on Sunday was also Nine News which aired to 890,000 metro viewers, while Seven News had 874,000 metro viewers.

As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 28.7% over Seven’s 26.9%, while Ten had 19.5% and ABC took a 16.7% share. Nine News also won key advertising demos, 18-49, and 25-54.

Nine won the primary channel share while the top-rating multi-channel on Sunday was 7MATE with a share of 5.7%.

Nine also took the week ending 13 November with a network share of 32.4% over Seven’s 26.4%, while Ten had 17.4% and ABC took 16.3%.

Nine also managed to win the primary channel share for the week, with a 24.1% share ahead of Seven’s 16.8%. The top multi-channel for the week was 7TWO on 3.6%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 7 November, The Block finale was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 2.916 million viewers, including 257,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 14%.

The program with the biggest uplift however was an episode of Ten’s FBI with an uplift of 41% and had a total of 315,000 viewers overall.
