TV Wrap: Matildas’ last ride in 2023 Women’s World Cup brings in 3.4m national viewers

2.14 million metro viewers came along for one last ride with the Matildas in this Women’s World Cup, as the team faced Sweden on Saturday night. A day later, the final between England and Spain also brought in 2 million on metro free-to-air.

Australia had a heartbreaking loss to Sweden and was placed fourth in this Women’s World Cup – still the best record for a national football team.
