Twitter rolls out top-of-feed video advertising product First View in APAC

The product, which was first introduced to the US in February, will now be available in Asia Pacific markets including Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

First View will enable brands to dominate the top ad in the microblogging platform’s news feeds for 24 hours.

Among the first brands to use First View in APAC are Nike Philippines, Samsung Australia and Tata Motors India.

Maya Hari, senior director for product strategy and sales, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Emerging Markets, commented: “Audiences today demand video content. With First View, marketers have the ability to connect with their audience through richer forms of communication and creative content, while ensuring that they are constantly top-of-mind on their feeds.

“First View provides advertisers with the opportunity to own the most valuable ad space on our platform on any given day, expanding their reach within a 24-hour period.”
