Two new appointments at ACP

Gerry Reynolds has been appointed to the role of deputy group publishing director at ACP Magazines.  This follows the promotion of  Sally Wright to general manager, ACP Custom Media.   

The announcement:

ACP Magazines today announced the appointment of Gerry Reynolds as Deputy Group Publishing Director, ACP Magazines.

Mr Reynolds will remain Publisher of ACP Custom Media.

Meanwhile, Sally Wright has been promoted from ACP Custom Media Publishing Strategist to the role of General Manager, ACP Custom Media.

Mr Reynolds will assist Group Publishing Director, Phil Scott, in a variety of publishing tasks across ACP Magazines’ broad portfolio of consumer titles, initially taking direct responsibility for Shop ‘Til You Drop, Dolly, Cleo, Good Health and the Australian Women’s Weekly ‘one shots’.

He will also drive a closer relationship between ACP’s consumer mastheads and custom publishing.

Phil Scott said: “Gerry and Sally have overseen tremendous growth in the client base, revenue and profits of our custom publishing division over the past five years, launching numerous new print and digital titles, including Myer emporium, INTHEBLACK, Fernwood, Westfield Shine, Coles Magazine, Australia Today and www.qantas.com/travelinsider.

“They were also both instrumental in securing the Cathay Pacific business which resulted in the setting up of ACP Hong Kong.”

Gerry Reynolds started his career as a technology writer and general newspaper reporter in Dublin before going on to hold a variety of magazine positions since arriving in Australia 25 years ago – from writing his first freelance story for Dolly magazine through to being Editorial Director at Text Media, with roles as Sub-Editor, Editor, Publisher and subsequently, Managing Director.

Sally Wright started her career with ACP Magazines in the finance department ten years ago and has been ACP Custom Media’s Publishing Strategist for the past five years.
