Un Ltd invites bids for support

The communications-industry supported fund raising body Un Ltd, which aims at helping disadvantaged youth, is asking for proposals about which charities it should support.

The announcement:

Every year UN LTD provides cash funding, mentoring, fundraising and volunteering support to numerous organisations that tackle youth disadvantage. In FY14 they want individuals and companies in the industry to help decide who will most benefit from UN  LTD support.

It is estimated that over 680,000 young people are currently disadvantaged in Australia  facing challenges such as abuse, neglect, injustice and family illness.

UN LTD exists purely to channel funding and resources from the media, advertising and  marketing sector to support organisations that provide critical services to those young  people most in need.

Carol Morris, General Manager at UN LTD commented: “We have a phenomenal range  of beneficiaries that we support each year and for 2014 we want people in the industry to  tell us who they think should be considered for funding.”.

The UN LTD Audit and Grant committee will review all applications and announcements  will be made in January 2014. Details of the application guidelines and application form can be found at http://www.unltd.org.au/beneficiaries/. Please email carol@unltd.org.au to provide your details and advise of your preferred organisation. Applications close December 20, 2013.
