Unified Music Group launches virtual forum

Unified Music Group has partnered with Bolster and Creative Victoria to launch Main Stage, a virtual forum designed to connect media agencies, brands and the music industry.

The announcement:

Hit hard by the pandemic, the Australian music industry faces a long rebuild as the rest of the country returns to COVID normal. Many have asked, what role can brands play in its recovery and what does the future of entertainment and music look like for artists and brands?

Taking place on Thursday April 29, Main Stage aims to connect and foster constructive conversation between media agencies, brands and the music industry.

Attendees will hear directly from artists and industry experts on the best ways to collaborate with some of Australia’s most influential cultural tastemakers.

Main Stage is co-presented by one of Australia’s leading independent entertainment group’s, Unified Music Group and Melbourne entertainment & culture marketing agency Bolster in partnership with Creative Victoria. The in person event will stream live from ‘The Studio’ located within Harry the Hirer in Richmond, Melbourne.

Michelle Rose, Unified’s Commercial Marketing Manager comments, “Thanks to Creative Victoria we welcome this incredible opportunity to encourage and inspire brands to work closely with the industry and our artists as we rebuild in this new world.”

Throughout the day the broadcast will include presentations, panel discussions and a live Q&A that will unpack the relationship between brands, artists and audiences.

Hosted by Rob Hicks & Lachlan Bradford of the Funny Business Podcast, Main Stage will explore the value of commercial partnerships in the music space, the concept of selling out, how brands can engage meaningfully with festival audiences, and the value of niche communities.

The event will feature artists and speakers from companies including Unified, Bolster, Secret Sounds, Mushroom Creative House, and BRING, Universal Music for Brands. The full program will be unveiled next week.

James Clarke, Managing Director at Bolster said “It’s an important topic at an important time for our industry. It’s exciting to see Main Stage come to life and collaboration and ideas between the entertainment industry and the advertising world put at the forefront.”

Brand managers, marketing directors, media planners and other marketing professionals are invited to register at the Main Stage website here: https://main-stage.com.au/

Melbourne attendees will also be invited to the Victorian Music Development Office (VMDO) Networking Breakfast on Friday April 30.
