Urban List appoints Pedestrian’s Jacqui La’Brooy as head of commercial

Publisher Urban List has appointed Jacqui La’Brooy as its new head of commercial.

La’Brooy joins after six years with Pedestrian Group, most recently as national head of partnerships. She replaces David Boldeman who resigned at the end of 2019.

Prior to that, La’Brooy spent three years with Bauer Media. She has also held sales roles with Ten and Crossmark.

Urban List founder and CEO, Susannah George, said the appointment reflects the publisher’s dedication to growing its commercial arm.

“Jacqui is a well renowned and respected commercial leader within the industry, building teams who are creative, committed and focused on delivering fresh, value-adding solutions for their clients,” George said.

“We are so excited to be bringing her unique brand of commercial leadership and product innovation into our team, working together to deliver some epic new opportunities for our clients in 2020.”

La’Brooy said she was excited to be joining the Urban List team.

“My time at Pedestrian was an incredible experience, working alongside a founding team to build one of the true leaders in the digital media industry, nationally,” said La’Brooy.

“It’s an unbelievable opportunity to be able to extend that experience to Urban List — a media company I’ve always admired for their stand-out skills in audience development and brand engagement — I’m so excited to be starting a new decade bringing so many new commercial opportunities to life.”
