Former Allure Media sales director David Boldeman to join The Urban List

Allure Media’s former national sales director, David Boldeman, will join The Urban List as head of commercial.

Boldeman has spent a year-and-a-half working for Business Insider in New York, and previously held a number of sales roles across Allure Media and Bauer Media.

Boldeman will return from New York to lead commercial operations for The Urban List

In his new role, Boldeman will oversee commercial operations for Urban List across four departments, agency media sales, event sponsorship, strategy and brand solutions and client services. He will also focus on the business’ programmatic offer and diversification of revenue.

Boldeman said he was looking forward to returning home to work with The Urban List.

“I’ve watched this Australian success story and have been I’m impressed with the growth and connection the brand has with the audience, youth and city culture,” Boldeman said.

Susannah George, founder and CEO of The Urban List, said Boldeman’s appointment would open new opportunities for partners.

“David’s time in New York has given him a real taste of what’s new in the media landscape, and his appointment is already unlocking fresh opportunities for our partners: media firsts, enhanced video and programmatic offerings, and working with bands to bring to life our consumer events,” George said.
