Users’ photos to run on digital billboards for Nokia N8 campaign

Nokia has launched a billboard campaign that uses images taken by people using its N8 smart phone.

Photos can be uploaded to, and each week Nokia will select the best ones and run them on digital billboards in Sydney and Melbourne.

John McCredie, Nokia’s head of marketing, said: “What’s different about this ad campaign is that the images have been taken by everyday Australians, not professional photographers, on a Nokia N8.”

The campaign, created by JWT Sydney, runs until 19 June in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
