Users’ photos to run on digital billboards for Nokia N8 campaign
Nokia has launched a billboard campaign that uses images taken by people using its N8 smart phone.
Photos can be uploaded to Facebook.com/nokiaaustralia, and each week Nokia will select the best ones and run them on digital billboards in Sydney and Melbourne.
John McCredie, Nokia’s head of marketing, said: “What’s different about this ad campaign is that the images have been taken by everyday Australians, not professional photographers, on a Nokia N8.”
The campaign, created by JWT Sydney, runs until 19 June in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

I think it’s silly that you have to buy a Nokia to be part of this, but think the actual campaign could work nicely for other brands who want their customers to engage with their products or services.
Has anyone else done anything similar that you know of so I could take a look?
