Val Morgan and Purina Total Care launch shopping centre activation

Cinema Network Val Morgan have partnered to launch an interactive activation for pet brand Purina Total Care.

The announcement:

Val Morgan Retail Media and Purina Total Care launch interactive shopping centre activation using kinetic game technology.

Nestle Purina have launched an innovative activation in key NSW shopping centres with Val Morgan Retail Media promoting their new Total Care Flea Shield, a spot-on treatment which protects dogs from their dreaded enemy – the flea.

The activation uses kinetic gaming technology to engage shoppers like never before. The battle against fleas is brought to life as consumers interact with a digital screen to swat fleas jumping on a dog to help save man’s best friend.

The activation is running at selected shopping centres in NSW over the next 4 weeks and supported by an extensive campaign running across Val Morgan Retail Media’s digital screen network.

Nicole Battistessa, Head of Grocery at Nestlé Purina PetCare, said “This is a truly engaging initiative for the Total Care brand which excited us as soon as it was presented by Val Morgan. The kinetic game is a real traffic-stopper, and a lot of fun for consumers in shopping centres. It allows our brand ambassadors to explain the product benefits which are being played out on the screen in front of the players and spectators. We are also providing consumers with a Woolworth’s coupon in-order to drive immediate trial on the spot.”

Val Morgan Retail Media National Sales Director, Matt Bushby said, “This is a great example of how technology is driving innovation in retail centres. It’s a really fun and engaging way of encouraging shoppers to interact with the Total Care brand, it’s creating great talkability and strikes a good balance by delivering strong reach through our digital network in shopping centres.”

The campaign was planned by Zenith Optmedia Sydney.
