Former NewsLifeMedia editor Trudi Jenkins joins hardtofind

NewsLifeMedia’s Trudi Jenkins has announced her resignation from the home and lifestyle arm of News Limited to join online retailer hardtofind.

The announcement:

High-profile magazine editor Trudi Jenkins today announced her resignation from NewsLifeMedia to join leading online retailer hardtofind. as Editorial Director.

Jenkins created hardtofind. with Erica Stewart in 2008. Since launch, hardtofind. has established itself as the online leader in unique gifts and homewares, representing more than 500 curated sellers with 16,000 products on the site.

The brand has been growing at an exceptional rate of more than 400 per cent year on year and has recently secured investment to fast-track its dominance in the marketplace. Jenkins will enter the business at an exciting time to develop editorial content for the new website (launching shortly).

Jenkins says: “I’m excited to be taking my print publishing experience to the digital space. I will miss the team at NewsLifeMedia but delicious. is in safe hands and I am thrilled to be joining hardtofind.”

Jenkins has worked in magazines for more than 20 years, starting her career with National Magazines in London before moving to Australia and editing titles including Sunday Life at Fairfax and delicious. at NewsLifeMedia.

Stewart left publishing in 2010 and has been the main driving force behind the hardtofind. brand until now. hardtofind. was born when Jenkins and Stewart, two working mothers who had little time to shop beyond the basics, saw a gap in the market for a quality website that offered customers a one-stop shop for unique, beautifully made products at the touch of a button.
