March 20, 2012: Leading premium video and entertainment advertising network VeNA has announced a major expansion in its capabilities by absorbing a digital creative and strategy business to work alongside VeNA’s existing portfolio across Asia Pacific.
Effective immediately, the Sydney and Melbourne based digital technology support agency, Transfer, willjoin the VeNA team and be renamed VeNA re:CONNECT. Transfer’s founder Bart Jawien will join VeNA as managing director and become a member of the agency’s management team, alongside CEO Adam Hobson and COO James Zipeure.
“This is a big step for VeNA as we introduce a social, creative and technology division to our existing business and make this capability available to agencies and clients,” said Zipeure. “VeNA re:CONNECT will focus principally on integrated creative production and execution; asset management; video content creation and technology, as well as product support. We will also offer social end-to-end management and mobile development.”
Bart Jawien said the opportunity to build a digital creative and technology business for VeNA will offer immediate opportunities for both businesses just at a much larger scale.
“VeNA is already a highly successful video and social gaming business. Creating VeNA re:CONNECT means VeNA will have the ability to deliver high quality in-house creative, full service and technology solutions to both agencies and clients alike ,” he said.
