Video hangout with Sydney New Year’s Eve creative Heath Campanaro

Mumbrella hosted a live video hangout this lunchtime with Imagination agency director Heath Campanaro as the events and activation agency prepares to put on one of the world’s biggest annual outdoor event – Sydney New Years Eve.

On Wednesday it was revealed the annual extravaganza, hosted by the City of Sydney and watched by millions around the world, will have the theme of ‘Inspire’, with Jack Thompson as creative ambassadors.

During the hangout Campanaro discussed the agency’s role at the Sydney New Years Eve event, the role of the creative ambassador and how they contribute to the planning of the event, the role of the agency in incorporating sponsors at events such as Sydney New Years Eve and other events the agency has been involved with, including the Australian Fleet Review.

Campanaro has a background in creative agencies, holding roles at Brand by Voice and The Marketing Store before joining Imagination in 2004, rising to be creative director and now director.

Last October the agency was also behind the huge Australian Fleet Review celebrations which scooped  a number of awards at the recent Australian Event Awards, and also handles large activations and events for the likes of Telstra and Ford Australia.
