Vikki Campion drops privacy complaint against The Daily Telegraph

Vikki Campion – who came to the country’s attention back in February when The Daily Telegraph revealed she was pregnant with then deputy prime minister Barnaby Joyce’s child – has dropped her complaint against the News Corp-owned paper.

Campion and Joyce faced criticism when they accepted what was reported to be $150,000 for a paid interview with Seven, with News Corp in particular highlighting the hypocrisy of asking for privacy from one media outlet, while profiting from telling your story to another.
