Virgin Mobile rebrands Sydney’s Metro Theatre

Virgin Mobile MetroVirgin Mobile has strengthened its links with Sydney’s live music scene with a naming deal for Sydney’s Metro Theatre, which now becomes the Virgin Mobile Metro.  

The deal also includes benefits for Virgin Mobile customers along with an opportunity for Metro bands to talk to Virgin Mobile’s database.

The brand has negotiated a special area for Virgin customers at certain gigs where they will get free drink and food along with priority seating. The telco has also created a dedicated Members Lounge website.

Dave Cain, Virgin Mobile’s experiential marketing manager, said: “We hope this partnership with Metro will be the first of similar partnerships throughout the country. Music is part of Virgin Mobile’s DNA.”

Virign Mobile is already a major sponsor of the V Festival.
