VMLY&R appoints creative director for Melbourne team

VMLY&R has hired South African Robyn Bergmann to its Melbourne creative team as creative director.

Bergmann, who was previously with Ogilvy Johannesburg handling the South African KFC account, joined the WPP-owned agency in August to work with creative director James Wills.

Before her 13 years with Ogilvy Johannesburg, Bergmann spent four years with Publicis’ Johannesburg arm, where she went from creative group head to creative director.

On her appointment, Bergmann said: “I’m excited to be joining an agency of this calibre that is bursting with energy and talent. I can’t wait to get to know the growing list of VMLY&R clients and make some exceptional work.”
