We Are Different launches Creative Incubator for emerging industry talent

PR specialists, We Are Different has launched Creative Incubator, a program for up-and-coming industry talent, with the aim to develop “an advanced understanding of earned ideas and showcase the power of creative-led PR”.

Launching this month, the program will offer those in the PR industry with one-to-three years experience an opportunity to hone and fast-track their skill-sets, including developing and executing PR ideas in their day-to-day work.

Stuart Terry, founder and director of We Are Different, said: “Research shows the new pack of PR talent is by far the most creative and innovative generation to date – yet the majority of agencies have these staff focused on admin, spreadsheets and reporting.”

“Incubator embraces Gen Z’s natural aptitude for creativity while offering practical skills that empower Generation Z to embrace creative-led PR work everyday. It’s different in that it focuses solely on ideas and the power of earned creativity,” Terry continued.

The program will feature global and local industry talent, as well as case studies of award-winning PR work. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn first-hand how successful PR ideas are created, while also developing their own earned-first ideas from  working briefs.

The first round of guests

The first round of guest presenters includes: New York-based creative director, Chloe Saintilan;
Snapchat’s consumer PR lead for international markets, Michael Levaggi; and planning and creative duo from independent agency Not Bad – Pretty Good, Craig Brooks and Joel Pearson.

Creative Incubator will run over a two-week period, after business hours in order to allow already-employed staff to join, without disrupting their current work schedule.

Attendees can register for the Creative Incubator via the We Are Different website.
