We Are Explorers brings adventure to real life with launch of ExplorerFest
Digital media publisher We Are Explorers has announced the launch of ExplorerFest, a three-day festival to celebrate adventure, nature, and community.
Set to take place in May next year in Hawks Nest, NSW, ExplorerFest is bringing adventure to life, inviting the publisher’s audience to experience a fusion of outdoor adventures, interactive workshops, and live entertainment.
The event is launching with global backpack brand Osprey as its presenting partner.
ExplorerFest is the realisation of a decade-long dream for founder of the publisher, Henry Brydon.
“ExplorerFest is a physical embodiment of everything we talk about on our platform,” he explained. From experts to newbies, I can’t wait to see new friends and old connect and celebrate living adventurously in such a beautiful part of the planet.
“This event is the very essence of what We Are Explorers stands for: getting everyone outside and connecting with nature. It’s mind-blowing that this is finally happening!”
Across three core pillars – adventure, inspiration, and entertainment – the weekend festival will see “everyday explorers” come together, get active, be inspired, learning new things, and make memories.
Adventure activities will be led by experts and athletes including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, trail running, yoga and pilates, 4WDing, surfing, and more. Workshops across photography, survival, creative writing, camp cooking, and more, will provide inspiration, while the entertainment pillar will feature live music, expert panels, pop-up cinemas, stargazing, and even a sauna and ice bath experience.
More integrated event partners will be announced in due course.
