WE Buchan promotes Gemma Hudson to managing director
Public relations agency WE Buchan has promoted its general manager Gemma Hudson to the role of managing director.
Hudson joined the agency in 2013 from Haystac where she was the head of Haystac Health.

As part of her new role, Hudson will oversee the commercial operations across both Sydney and Melbourne as well as driving the agency’s growth strategy.
In other appointments, Jörn Sanda has joined the agency as a consultant to help expand the agency’s technology offering.
Meanwhile, Georgi Wicks has been appointed as a senior account manager within the investor communication team while Matthew Lee joins as an account manager within the corporate team.
“FY18 was a great year, and we are looking forward to a bigger and better year ahead as we continue to challenge our clients to embrace new strategies to move their brand reputation.
“We’re excited about how these new hires, alongside Gemma’s leadership, will help support our agency’s continued momentum,” Tom Buchan, founder of WE Buchan, said in a statement.
Hudson’s promotion comes three months after the agency made five new hires and bolstered its digital and social teams.
