‘We look forward to exploring where this partnership can take us’: iProspect snags SME media agency of record gig for MYOB

Dentsu’s iProspect has been named the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) media agency of record for MYOB – a business management solution.

Moving forward, iProspect will be supporting MYOB via several services, including media buying and strategy, digital consulting and channel planning.

MYOB and iProspect have worked together in a project capacity, but now that partnership has been extended into a longer relationship, according to iProspect’s managing director, Marcelle Gomez.

“We started working with MYOB on a project basis and it has been immensely rewarding to see that turn into a longer-term relationship in which we can partner with MYOB to support accelerated growth,” Gomez said.

According to MYOB’s chief marketing officer, Dean Chadwick, iProspect’s data-rich approach perfectly melds with the business tool’s knowledge of the SME landscape.

Chadwick said: “Achieving the right channel mix is a living, breathing program of work in this ultra dynamic media landscape, so we are delighted to have engaged with such a solid and complementary partner in iProspect.

“Harnessing intelligence to ensure our campaigns are always bang on target is a big priority. IProspect’s data-led approach maps well with MYOB’s rich understanding of the SME ecosystem and we look forward to exploring where this partnership can take us.”

MYOB and iProspect’s partnership comes near one month after the latter secured the global media account of online retail titan, eBay, after coming out on top of an “extensive review process”.

In a statement shared with Mumbrella, eBay said iProspect’s operating model and passion for the digital retailer’s brand made them stand out from the pack.

“While we were very impressed with all the agencies who participated, iProspect stood out for their passion of the eBay brand and their strong operating model,” eBay said in its statement.

“Their support will be critical as we focus on full-funnel campaigns that are integrated throughout the entire buying and selling journey. We look forward to working with the iProspect team in 2025 and beyond.”
