‘We will create compelling and relevant digital experiences’: Archetype hires head of digital marketing

Global communications strategy and marketing agency, Archetype, has signed Simon Lesch as its new head of digital marketing for the company’s office in Sydney.

Lesch’s work at Archetype will consist of growing its Australian digital marketing services. Specifically, he’ll serve as a leader for the digital team, helping them to launch high-quality campaigns while crafting smart digital strategies, for Archetype’s clients, including Oracle NetSuite.

“His extensive experience and proven success in driving digital marketing results will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our digital offerings and deliver exceptional value to our clients in Australia.”

Before working as a freelance consultant since September 2023, Lesch spent close to two years at marketing consulting company, Orange Line, as a senior strategist.

Other positions he’s held in his more-than 20-year career include: senior account director at Havas Host from June 2018 to March 2019; digital account manager and senior account manager roles at advertising agency, The Hallway; and more.

When speaking on his new job, Lesch shared his excitement at the latest stage of his career, while revealing that he was eager to work closely with Archetype’s Singapore creative team to deliver impactful work.

“I am excited to join Archetype as the new Head of Digital Marketing. This role presents an incredible opportunity to advance our digital capabilities and drive business growth through innovative strategies,” he said.

“I look forward to collaborating closely with our talented creative team in Singapore to develop and execute digital campaigns that resonate within the region.

Lesch steps into the business in the wake of various “client wins for Archetype in Australia, including MailChimp, Kyndryl, Green Climate Fund, HAPBev and Databricks”.
