Weber Shandwick Australia unveils new appointments and promotions
Weber Shandwick Australia has shared its latest team promotions and appointments.
The announcement:
Weber Shandwick Australia is proud to announce the expansion of its team with the appointment and promotion of several key professionals across its consumer, corporate, and technology divisions. These announcements come at a time of rapid growth for the agency, following a series of new client wins and continued demand for integrated communications services.
Amy Kirk joins the team as business director leading the agency’s technology and corporate practice and bringing almost two decades of experience in strategic marketing and public relations. Formally at Ogilvy PR for more than a decade, Amy specialises in crafting communication strategies that engage industry leaders, customers, and sales channels through thought-provoking content and insight-driven storytelling.
“I’m thrilled to join the Weber Shandwick team,” said Amy. “The agency’s unique local alliance with experiential agency Jack Morton provides a powerful platform to develop innovative and impactful integrated campaigns that truly connect with audiences.”
In addition to Amy joining the team, Emily Saville has recently joined the team as an account director from We. Communications. Emily brings over seven years of PR agency experience, working across a variety of projects and accounts within the consumer and technology sector.
“It’s great to be part of the team,” said Emily. “I’m looking forward to continuing to grow in the role, learn from the people around me, and play a role in innovative, dynamic campaigns that make an impact.”
“These recent appointments reflect our strong commitment to deepening our expertise across a diverse range of industries. Investing in exceptional talent is key to staying agile and delivering innovative solutions in today’s fast-evolving communications landscape. We’re proud to continue building a team that meets and exceeds our clients’ needs,” said Angela Malkin, head of Weber Shandwick Australia.
Weber Shandwick Australia is also pleased to announce the promotion of two team members – Sucheta Saraogi and Dhalu Sherpa – who are both stepping into the role of senior account executive.
Since joining Weber Shandwick Australia in 2024, Sucheta has hit the ground running—leading new business pitches, speaking at events, and delivering standout work for major clients like Service Now, DXC, and Splunk.
Similarly, Dhalu’s versatile skillset has seen her thrive across one of the most diverse portfolios in the agency—spanning health, tech, and consumer projects. She meets every challenge with a flexible mindset, sharp insight, and a great sense of humour.
