The summit featured in “The nicest Christmas ever” sees kids from around the world pledge to do their bit, if they can get off the list.
New Zealand’s pledge – made with crossed fingers behind the back – is to be nicer to Australia.
The ad also features a mini Donald Trump, wearing a “Make Christmas Great Again” cap who insists that he’s the nicest person he knows.
The campaign was created by Host Havas.
Air New Zealand’s GM of global brand and content Jodi Williams said in a press release: “From childhood memories of writing to Santa, through to the drama of a festive tech fail, the heartwarming video plays on silly season moments in a very Kiwi way.
“Showcasing our people is a hallmark of Air New Zealand’s brand campaigns and it was fantastic to be able to share the limelight with more of the Air New Zealand family this time.”
