Bauer reveals merged teams and new editors for Elle and Harper’s Bazaar
Bauer Media has revealed the new editors of Elle and Harpers’s Bazaar two months after announcing 13 redundancies as part of a merger of the mastheads’ two editorial teams.
Leek: new Elle editor
Eugenie Kelly will edit Harper’s Bazaar and Genevra Leek will be editor of Elle. It follows the departures of Harper’s Bazaar editor in chief Kellie Hush and Elle editor in chief Justine Cullen.
Kelly has been with the title for more than 15 years, and previously worked at Pacific Magazines.

Leek has been with Elle for more than three years after previous roles with The Woolmark Company and Vogue.
The duo will report in to GM of publishing and digital operations Sarah-Belle Murphy.
In further moves, Susannah Guthrie has been appointed as digital content director for the titles, while Mahalia Chang who will take the role of digital managing editor.
Murphy said: “I’m excited about the future under our new structure and talented team who will drive growth in our existing channels and extend our brands in new directions – from events, bespoke client activations, and products, that will set a new bar for how our brands connect with our consumer”.

Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large.
